Beginner and kid-friendly green smoothie made of baby spinach, banana, pineapple, mango, and yogurt. It turns into the most gorgeous green apple color.
1avocadooptional - makes the smoothie creamy and rich
2-3heaping spoonfuls organic plain full-fat yogurt or greek yogurt
chia or hemp seeds sprinkled on top of the smoothieoptional
Instructions
Pack a one-cup measurement full of spinach, and dump it into a blender. Add one cup of water. Blend for 30 seconds, or until there are no longer any bits of spinach - it should resemble green spinach water.
Add in the remaining ingredients; frozen mango, frozen pineapple, bananas, avocado (optional), and yogurt. Blend for 30-60 seconds, or until completely smooth. Serve in a glass. Optional: Sprinkle chia or hemp seeds over-top for bonus health.
Notes
I've even added one navel orange to this recipe before. It makes it taste like a delicious green juice vs a smoothie.
